DAG - Obey ALL The Rules...

All About Olive

Just thought i would make a mention of the passing of the World's Oldest Blogger - Olive Riley at 108 years old. I have been sitting here trying to decide what to write for a while.. I had begun with "Although i did not know Olive personally.." and then I stopped for a moment. The stories that she has shared from beginning her Blog (or Blob as she would call it) in February 2007, has made me feel like I did know her. I am inspired by her remarkable honesty and willingness to share all aspects of her colourful life from the history making events to the very first time she experienced Thai food. The list could go on and on..
Thank you for sharing all of your memories. I am truly sad to hear of Olive's passing.
Olive passed away on the 12th Of July 2008.

Helen Keller

While flicking through a photography book (beautiful photography book I might add) on cats, not the musical, but just pictures of random cats, I flicked over page 122 to discover a Red Point British Shorthair cat by the name of "King" at 9 weeks old.

Although memorable in all his beauty, King was not what made me return to this page. To accompany King's photograph, on the opposite page read "Never bend your head. Always hold it high. Look the world straight in the face" - Helen Keller.

I immediately loved this quote. Curiosity swiftly prompted me to have a look around and find out - Who is Helen Keller??

The first thing that comes to mind is - Inspirational. The second is - Read on.. Helen Keller

Cant See The Forest From The Trees??

Cant see the forest from the trees?

Take a step back.
Relax.

And breathe...

And So It Begins...

Stumped.
From this moment - no -From THE moment that I realised the possibilities were endless.

With the POWER to say things she felt.
With the POWER to say things that she saw.
With the POWER to say Anything..... Everything...... Nothing.

The question is... What would she say??
